In this day and age where sports dominate the world. One sport has been dominating more than others. Esports has become so popular that some live streams have up to 90 million viewers. As in any other sport many super, outstanding players are born. In the NFL we have Tom Brady and in the NBA Lebron James is called the King. Everyone wants to become a star athlete and they get paid big money once they do. In Esports it is very different. You first have to make it into a team. After you make it into a team you have to prove yourself to your team and the sponsors. Overall just like in any other sport making it big in eSports will only happen if you play well and are noticed for your skills. These five players listed below have done just that. All of them have proven to be the best in the world of video gaming eSports.

Aliwi is the only Romanian to make this esports powerful list. He is 22 years old. His nickname is "w33" and he has risen to fame under the esport Dota 2. He was a youngster when he started playing the original Dota in 2004. He is under estimated as a player. He has had to prove himself to this notorious world. As a professional he has earned an estimated $1.16 million. He raked $1 million alone in 2016 as a runner up in the famous The International tournament. Aliwi was also victorious at the Shanghai Major. Currently he plays for Digital Chaos. He has played with other teams as well including Balkan Bears and Team Secret.

At only the age of 19. Zai as he is known in the esports world has played for the Evil Geniuses which have been very succesful in this sport. He is from Sweden descent. He has secured a place and payouts in the past three years at The International Tournament where only the best come to play. He started his amazing career at the young age of 14. He also won the DreamHoN 2012 title at the age of 14. He has played for one of the highest rated teams, Team Secret. He is one of two chinese that join the ranks in the list. He has earned $1.9 million from playing Dota 2. This year he will most likely help his team retain their title at The International Tournament in August. He is very new to this industry but he is being recognized by everyone at the moment. He is one of the next big stars to hit the eSports world. His 19 years has taken him far and with his skills he will more than likely become very big in this industry.

He is only 18 years old but his professional career has taken off in this difficult world of esports. He is Chinese just Like Faith_bian he also only has 18 tournaments to his name. His short career has already made him $1.9 million in earnings. In Esports he is known as the most promising player to date. He currently plays for Wings Gaming where in 2016 he helped them be victorious in the famous The International Tournament. In August he will be playing with his team again to try to retain their title from last year. If this is to happen they will be the first team to earn the title two years in a row.

He is the only player from Pakistan to make the list. He has gained his showstopping reputation in the Dota 2 eSports and is considered a prodigy in this world. At 18 he is the third highest eSports money maker of all time. He has earned his living by playing computer games and at the young age of 18 he has earned an estimated $2.4 million. Most of this prodigy's winnings have come from his involvement with The Evil Geniuses' win in the 2015 The International Tourney. He is one of the most recognize eSports professionals in this industry. Suma1L is ranked as the best out there and one of the most talked about.

It is a world of video games full of challenges. Although many teams are competing nowadays only very few make a name for themselves. The sport looks like it is a lot of fun and it pays very well.
